The Challenge: The Deadly "Grey Zone"
In 2023, casualty evacuation in the combat zone became significantly more complicated due to the growing use of FPV drones. "Classical" evacuation methods became increasingly dangerous for medical crews, requiring a new solution built specifically for the frontline.
Our Partner: Military Unit A5102
The Ukraine Aid Fund is proud to support the 1st Separate Medical Battalion (Military Unit A5102). This unit is at the forefront of modern tactical rescue, currently ranking 3rd among all defense forces for successful evacuations using robotic complexes. They have officially requested our help to deploy the MAUL Ground Evacuation Platform to save lives in high-risk zones.
The MAUL Advantage
The MAUL is a specialized Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) designed by medics for medics. It offers:
Armored Protection: A specialized capsule capable of protecting the casualty from shrapnel and drone-dropped munitions.
Exceptional Speed: Reaches speeds up to 70 km/h to minimize exposure in dangerous areas.
Battlefield Resilience: Equipped with special airless metal wheels that allow the vehicle to continue moving even after running over a mine.
Proven Success: In past operations, the MAUL has successfully evacuated soldiers from settlements under full enemy control, even after sustaining direct hits.
How You Can Help
It costs approximately $19,000 (800,000 UAH) to manufacture one MAUL unit. Your tax-deductible donation directly funds the production of this life-saving technology, giving the 1st Separate Medical Battalion the tools they need to bring wounded heroes home safely.
