The world watched with outrage when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. Since then, Ukraine has bravely defended their homeland, fighting for their country and freedom against Russian aggression. In partnership with the Ukraine Aid Fund, the Current Events Club at Wind Crest is proud to host a powerful and moving event featuring firsthand accounts from the battlefields of Ukraine.

Featured Speakers

“Alex” – Special Ops Officer in the Ukrainian Army, currently serving on the frontlines. He will share both the governmental and political realities of the war as well as his personal experiences in combat.

Florent Marcie – Internationally recognized wartime film correspondent who has been embedded with the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the past 3 years, offering a unique and compelling perspective from the battlefield.

Panel Discussion & Q&A

The event will also include a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
