Ukraine Aid Fund invites you to the Ukrainian Festival to celebrate Vyshyvanka Day.

Vyshyvanka Day is a great opportunity to spend the day with your like-minded people, demonstrate your national identity or unity with the Ukrainian nation, so put on your best Vyshyvanka and join the celebrations!

Vyshyvanka Day is an international holiday that originated in Ukraine but is celebrated in all corners of the world annually on the third Thursday of May. It aims to preserve the Ukrainian folk traditions of creating and wearing ethnic embroidered clothes called vyshyvanka.It symbolizes the culture and traditions of the Ukrainian people, because embroidery is not only an element of clothing, but also a carrier of deep meaning, history, and identity.

This holiday helps preserve and popularize Ukrainian national traditions. Vyshyvanka is a symbol of unity and pride in its culture. It unites people of all ages and backgrounds, becoming a common sign of belonging to the Ukrainian people, support for the Ukrainian struggle for freedom.

Adding to the festivities, we are honored to have the sensational NaDiya Band as our special guests, who will fill the air with their captivating music, setting the perfect mood for the evening, and many other talented musicians who will enchant you with Ukrainian songs and melodies.

Be prepared to sing the most famous Ukrainian songs, dance a lot, eat the best Ukrainian food, share your good mood and show your support to Ukraine. We eagerly await your presence at this incredible event! Every penny raised will go towards supporting our courageous men and women who are fighting to protect Ukraine. Suggested entry donation - $10.00, free admission for children aged 12 and under. Food and drinks are available for additional purchase. You should bring blankets and/or folding chairs for relaxing and enjoying amazing view from the park.
